New York Office seeks a Mechanical Engineer who will be responsible for mechanical design including ductwork &
piping design, selection of air conditioning systems, load & energy calculations, layout of mechanical systems using
Architectural Desktop 3.3, writing specifications and have knowledge of code compliance requirements. Engineer should
have strong oral and writer communication skills and capable of interacting with clients and architects. Bachelor's
Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 2 years experience.
HVAC Senior Engineer
The successful candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer; possess a Bachelor's
Degree from an accredited Mechanical Engineering program; have 15 or more years
experience with a consulting engineering firm designing building HVAC systems, have a
thorough understanding and knowledge of the architectural and engineering industry; possess
strong oral and written communication skills and can work with CAD. Position requires
good leadership and motivational skills, solid technical background, good organizational
skills, attention to detail, quality control, client interaction and representation.
- Ability to solve problems with new and innovative solutions.
- Provide planning, staffing, scheduling, and budget management on projects
- In depth knowledge of general building construction and HVAC controls is essential.

with either a consulting engineering firm commissioning building HVAC systems or a
commissioning firm. Experience or familiarity with commissioning requirements of LEED is a
plus. The candidate will have a thorough understanding and knowledge of the architectural
and engineering industry; possess strong oral and written communication skills and can work
with CAD.
- Prepare basic deliverables and products including calculations, drawings and
specifications.
- Requires thorough knowledge and interpretation of code compliance requirements and industry

The successful candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited Mechanical
Engineering program, have strong oral and written communication skills, understands
computer programs such as Word, Excel and AutoCAD and preferably passed the EIT
examination. Applicant will be responsible for assisting a Senior Engineer with the
following:
- Calculate heating and cooling loads for building systems.
- Survey the existing mechanical systems for buildings.
- Design duct distribution and mechanical systems.
- Select and layout mechanical equipment such as pumps, chillers, fans and boilers.
Electrical Senior Engineer
The successful candidate will be a licensed Professional Engineer; possess a Bachelor's
Degree from an accredited Electrical Engineering program; have 15 or more years experience
with a consulting engineering firm designing building electrical systems - including power,
lighting, communication, security systems and fire alarm; have a thorough understanding
and knowledge of the architectural and engineering industry, possess strong oral and

examination. Applicant will be responsible for assisting a Senior Engineer with the
following:
- Design plumbing systems (Domestic water, sanitary drainage and vent, storm drainage, medical gases) for various types of commercial and institutional buildings.
- Design fire protection systems (sprinkler, fire standpipe, clean agent) for various types of commercial and institutional occupancies.
- Perform code analysis with respect to plumbing and fire protection systems in the initial phase of projects.
- Perform required calculations for sizing of piping systems and selection of equipment.
- Survey existing plumbing and fire protection systems in buildings.
- Attend meetings with architects, owners and building managers to discuss future and or current projects.
CAD Draftsperson
The successful candidate will have 4-5 years CAD drafting experience.
Candidates should have the ability to interpret prints created
in an engineering environment and have experience with AutoCAD
Release 2007. The position will require CAD drawings to be created
for the various disciplines, (mechanical, electrical, plumbing,
fire protection) and will require the ability to handle multiple
complex assignments simultaneously. Position requires good organizational
and communication skills and attention to detail. AutoDesk certification
or certification from a CADD training program a plus.
