Asif Syed has over 21 years of experience in the integrating MEP systems in buildings in the US and overseas. His expertise is included in facilities such as office buildings, performance spaces, high-rises, mixed-use, airports, hospitality, museums, arenas, laboratories, universities and pharmaceuticals. He has designed several sustainable design projects that include under floor air distribution, displacement ventilation, photovoltaic, geothermal, geothermal heat pumps, radiant cooling and heating, demand control ventilation, cogeneration, low temperature air systems, thermal storage, chilled beams, day lighting control, energy analysis, life cycle costs and high performance envelope.

Asif has lectured extensively on energy codes, integrated design, sustainable design, and LEED® certifications. His speaking engagements include the New York AIA, International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers, Unites States Institute of Theater Technology and the Society of Marketing Professionals.

Asif performed research at the Building Engineering and Architectural Research Center of New Jersey Institute of Technology. He holds a Masters Degree in Mechanical Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology.
