Robert Diemer, PE
LEED® Accredited Professional
Mr. Diemer is committed to providing innovative and cost effective building solutions that enhance the built environment while minimizing the environmental footprint of each project. Mr. Diemer is a partner of AKF and has over 25 years experience in the design and integration of mechanical and electrical engineering systems for many different building types. He has collaborated on the design of buildings incorporating innovative sustainable features such as radiant floor heating, displacement ventilation, geo-thermal heat pumps, mixed-mode ventilation and photovoltaics. Mr. Diemer is a LEED® Accredited Professional and is a leader of the sustainable design initiative for AKF.
Mr. Diemer is the Chair of the Delaware Valley Green Building Council and is the Chair of the Educational Programs Committee. He has lectured extensively on sustainable design and high performance HVAC systems including presentations at AIA/Design on the Delaware in 2004, the Green Building Design Salon in New York, NY and the Wilmington Chapter of the AIA. He has also represented DVGBC as an educational outreach speaker to local architectural firms interested in learning more about sustainable design.
Mr. Diemer has a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree from the Pennsylvania State University, which provided him with a diverse background across all design disciplines. He is a licensed professional engineer in New York, New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
